Discover ViennaUP

ViennaUP is a city-wide festival of entrepreneurship and innovation, created by the startup community for the world. Events take place throughout Vienna, inviting you to explore the city, get to know the Viennese startup ecosystem, and mingle with founders, investors, talents and enablers from around the world. ViennaUP 2026 will take between 18 and 22 May 2026. 

You can apply by filling in the form by latest 15 March 2026.

The travel grant reimburses €500 for one person per startup. The budget may be used to cover expenses related to accommodation, transportation to and from Vienna (flight, train, or bus), and event participation fees. Please note that tickets for individual ViennaUP events must be purchased separately and are not granted directly. Due to the decentralised nature of the festival, each event is organised independently and may have its own participation requirements and registration processes. Reimbursement will be processed only after your successful participation. The Vienna Business Agency does not cover any cancellation costs related to the startups' own scheduling.
 

Only international startups based outside of Austria and established within the past five years are eligible for support. Startups should at least have a working prototype, and be able to show some traction or first customers in their respective countries.
